Company Overview & History
Lynn Levy Land Company is owned and operated by Jonathan L. Starns and Brandon L. Dodson, lifelong residents of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Area.
The company was initially founded as DAGR, LLC in 2011 and later converted to the name Lynn Levy Land Company, LLC in 2015.
Starns and Dodson have an extensive background in the industry. Starns has been in real estate brokerage and development since 2001, and Dodson has been a third-generation home builder and developer since 2000. Starns is now co owner/broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – United Properties, and Dodson is owner/operator of AP Dodson Construction.
Since its inception in 2011, the company has exclusively developed multiple residential developments across south Louisiana with a 100% track record. The company is designed to serve the capacity of consultant and designer of numerous other residential developments for 3rd party developers.
Lynn Levy’s connection to the marketplace and vast relationships with local builders, production builders, and national builders typically results in the development being pre-sold before completion of construction.

Brandon Dodson
Brandon Dodson is a Louisiana Licensed Contractor and is the President of AP Dodson, LLC. He has been active in the construction industry since 2001 as a third-generation builder. Brandon’s father and grandparents were contractors as well, where he learned the skills of real estate development and home building through hands-on experience throughout his life. AP Dodson, LLC is rapidly growing and becoming one of the largest independent home builders in the area.
Jonathan Starns
Jonathan Starns, a lifelong resident of Louisiana living in the Baton Rouge area, has built an incredibly successful career in the real estate, consulting, investing, construction, and development industries through exceptional customer care and a pro-active style business. His passion, along with his creative energy, accelerate his skills in getting the deals done. Jonathan has earned a reputation of being a tireless worker, a strong negotiator, and a fearless representative.
